February 02, 2005

With four hurricanes making landfall on U.S. soil, the 2004 hurricane season resulted in $100’s billions in property damages.

During the 2004 ACME Disaster Recovery Services was involved with Hurricanes Charlie, Jeanne and Francis in the U.S. and Hurricane Ivan in the Cayman Islands.

ACMEs emergency response services in the U.S. included the structural drying of high-rise condominiums in Daytona Beach, retail facilities in West Palm Beach and the rental of drying equipment to varying contractors on both coasts.

In the Cayman Islands Hurricane Ivan produced five foot flooding, resulting in $1.8 billion in damages. ACME performed the structural drying on retail facilities and mid-rise condominiums throughout Grand Cayman Island.
